‘After being super fit as a teenager, I know how it was to be ‘fit and healthy’. I wanted to return to this mindset and body, but I knew I could not do it alone. I usually lost maybe 5 kg with a diet and then quickly put them back on again. I knew in order to change my lifestyle completely I needed Valentine to get me on the right track and monitor my progress.
We set very small & achievable goals, in order to take it slow and get the body used to the new lifestyle. Every week I had to sport at least 2-3 times and every month I had to lose 1-2kg. Overall, it was never too much pressure and 4 weeks were enough to lose the small amount. We would check my progress during monthly meetings, which helped me to stay motivated.
I learned a lot about nutrition, which helped me to balance my lifestyle and achieving my weight loss goals. During the process, I learned how to live a healthier and more balanced life, instead of how to be on a diet all the time.
The only difficult part is to not give up, after a while of losing weight your body will slow down and it will get more difficult to lose weight as fast. In these times, it is essential to be patient and stick to what you have learned from Valentine. The reward will come, I’ve lost 25 kgs.
I see a major difference in my energy and of course my level of fitness. I am able to keep up during workout classes, I push myself to the next level every time and the best thing is that I can run and catch my train without any problems…haha..
Besides that, I used to have major mood swings. Now, my attitude is 100% positive and I feel like I can achieve anything if I put my mind towards it. I feel a lot fitter and energetic. My everyday life has completely changed and I mentally and physically feel ‘lighter’.
Without Valentine I would have never gotten this far, therefore, I can only advise, if you need someone that does not teach you another diet, but to live a better and healthier life, she is the right person!
She is one of the most positive persons I have ever met and never fails to make you feel good about yourself.’
